For many families living across the US, venturing to Southwest Florida over spring or Easter vacation time is an annual tradition. Not only is it the perfect time, but with the abundance of warm weather and sunshine Captiva Island provides, it’s the perfect place too.
And when it comes to celebrating Easter Sunday, you’ll find no better place than at Old Captiva House at the legendary ‘Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa on Captiva Island.
Each year the Official Beach Resort of Captiva Island puts together a day of fun and delicious eats and treats, and we couldn’t be more excited to share with you our plans for this year.
Beginning at 9:30 in the morning, all little bunnies staying at ‘Tween Waters will have the chance to search for eggs hidden across our resort and meet the Easter Bunny! Our Easter Egg Hunt isn’t just for children but adults as well! By our pool, we’ll have complimentary mimosas for adults and refreshments for kids (please note, this event is for resort guests only).
At our famous Easter Buffet, Chef Greg Nelson has delicately crafted a menu filled with a variety of dishes. What you want to get just depends on what kind of mood you’re in! This year, we have a seafood station with freshly caught fish and shrimp, a carving station featuring lamb, prime rib and salmon, a cold display featuring salads, couscous and cheese platter. Our entire menu can be viewed by clicking here.
This Easter, relax and let us do the cooking. Make a reservation at Old Captiva House today by clicking here or calling 239.472.5161 ext. 3.
